About

A stylist on every
product page.

Klooset is the AI stylist fashion retailers embed on their own product pages. It shows shoppers the piece on themselves, calls their size and suggests the colours and looks that suit them, so they buy with confidence and fewer parcels come back.

The problem

Online, the shopper is alone with a photo.

In a shop, someone tells you the cut runs small, that the colour suits you, that the boots work with the coat. Online, a shopper gets a product photo and a size chart, and has to guess.

So they hedge. They order two sizes or two colours and send one back. Size alone accounts for 42% of fashion returns, and colour for another 18% (EFRC, 2024).

Better photography does not close that gap. Answering the shopper's real questions, on the page where they decide, does.

Sourced, not self-reported.

Every figure here is published industry research. We have no customer data of our own yet, and we will not invent any.

Our promise

Buying online should feel like buying in store.

In a store, you try the piece on. You see it on your own body, in your own size, next to the rest of your outfit. You leave knowing. Online, you get a photo and a size chart.

That is why shoppers hedge: two sizes, two colours, one parcel back. It is not a logistics problem. It is an experience that was never brought online.

Klooset brings it over. The fitting room, the mirror, the right size, the colours that suit you, the pieces that work together, on the product page itself.

The in-store shopping experience, on your e-commerce site.

What we built

One assistant, the whole job of a stylist.

Klooset runs inside your product pages, cart and collections as one white-label widget. Today it does five things, with more on the way.

No 3D assets, no ML team, no platform migration. A script tag or the Shopify app, and Klooset works from the catalogue and product photos you already have.

How we operate

A few rules we do not bend.

Photos are not ours to keep

Shopper photos are never stored on our servers. They go to the AI provider only to generate the result, then they are dropped on our side. Our privacy policy names every provider involved and where it runs.

No invented numbers

Every figure on this site comes from published research, with its source. We have no customer data of our own yet, and we will not make any up.

Your brand, not ours

The widget is white-label by default: your colours, your button text, your domain. Shoppers see your store, not Klooset.

Judged on returns and revenue

We measure Klooset on return rate and on the revenue it drives, tracked in your console. A feature that does not move those numbers does not ship.

Impact

Fewer returns, fewer parcels on the road.

Every return is a second journey: a parcel collected, shipped back, sorted, repackaged, and sometimes thrown away. In the United States alone, returns generated about 24 million tonnes of CO₂ in 2022, and nearly 4.3 million tonnes of returned goods ended up in landfill (Optoro, 2022).

Shoppers who try a piece on before they buy send far fewer back: 40% fewer returns, according to Snap (2023). A size that fits the first time is a parcel that never makes the trip back. That is the footprint Klooset works on, and it is the same number your finance team watches.

We also give 1% of every payment Klooset receives to carbon removal, through Stripe Climate. Stripe passes 100% of it to projects that remove CO₂ from the atmosphere, selected with independent scientific reviewers. It is not an offset, and we do not claim to be carbon neutral: it is a contribution to help these technologies scale.

Grégoire PETIT, founder of Klooset
Founder

It started in Boston.

Near the end of his studies, Grégoire PETIT took a trip to Boston. Walking through the city's boutiques and concept stores, he noticed something that stuck with him: the in-store experience was nothing like what people got online. Sales assistants who actually knew your style. Fitting rooms that made buying feel effortless. Advice that made sense for your body and your wardrobe.

Back home, shopping online felt like a different world. No way to know if a colour would suit his skin tone. No way to tell if the cut would work on his body. Just a size chart, a product photo, and a guess. Like most people, he kept sending things back.

That gap became the idea behind Klooset. Not a generic chatbot, not a quiz with generic tips: a real personal shopper that knows the retailer's catalogue, embedded directly into the product page, invisible to the brand and genuinely useful to the shopper.

Grégoire is building Klooset as a solo founder, from Lyon. The conviction behind it: the next leap in fashion e-commerce is not faster delivery or better photography. It is advice that actually knows who you are.
